Lets continue my story, but, maybe you have to know about
this city for a moment. Yes, Semarang!
Semarang is the capital city of Central Java. It’s located
in north of the center Java. Near from beach with the border of Ungaran
Mountain. My campus was in Tembalang, yes, you can search manually in “mbah
google” what campus it is. I never had expected will have life and struggled in
this campus, this city in my young –late life.
Semarang City included one of five large city in Indonesia besides
Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, and Medan with 373,7km2 of area. A
teacher in my course when I was high school said that Semarang is soo hot
weather although there had some hill in that city. I didn’t believe in that
time, and I didn’t plan to choose a campus in that city. Because if I can
choose, I want school in cold weather, fresh water. But, who know? This city is
my next life after high school finished.
Well, that’s the little intro.
One of my interest with Semarang is, this city have unique
place to come and enjoy by your favorite environment. You can meet the beach,
it is Marina Beach. But yes, this beach is not as cool as Jakarta’s, but at
least you can see the sea wave and strong wind like let you fly in the air (too
“lebay” yeah -.-). Maybe this beach has
good view and comfort place to enjoying sunset, because last time I came, I
still just sit down in floor with walking people in front of me.
And the other place, OMG I really love this. The Hills and
MOUNTAIN! Yes, I’ve told that there Mountain of border where is Semarang City
and Semarang other regency. There is Ungaran City. Not as height as Semeru or
Slamet Mountain, its only 2050 mdpl. Just like other mountain, there have many
natural object for tourist come and enjoy the nature. You can find waterfall, swimming
pool, camping ground.
